The Watering Hole

Stumbled into this during my internet travels:

There's a story of Ravi Shankar at the Concert for Bangladesh. The musicians began with an unannounced piece, which lasted for a few minutes. They stopped, and the audience naturally broke into appreciative applause. Shankar replied ""Thank you. If you appreciate the tuning so much, I hope you will enjoy the playing more."
