Has been my fav player for 25 years. And he keeps on keeping on. Cool vid:

I thought it was impressive. Guess I have much catching up to do to be relevant here. Will do more playing and homework on my own part. See you guys in a few years, when this vid is silly and all chops on it are on my back burner and I'm adding parts to it to make it not so boring.
Later.
I didn't watch it when you posted it because I didn't know what it was.
Seems like every forum I go to these days, people put up links to youtube without much description, I'm wary of it because many times it's supposed to be "funny" or it's a video that captures the way they feel about something. It's gotten old.
Not that I don't trust you, but it's become a habit of mine to wait for others to take the bait first. I would have watched right away if I knew it was Geo. Lynch from 2011, though. "Good Ol' George" had me thinking "Bluesman" of some variety or Thorogood... heh.
cool vid!
Johnny, you know i'm a metal head. I just now had a chance to watch too, and i didn't have a clue who it was before now. I love George. Beast From The East, baby! Gets regular play in the car even now.
I love George... lol I was afraid it was thorogood too...
wish the mix was better. wicked playing as usual.
Always been a fan too. For me he was at his very best circa 'Back for the Attack', especially tone wise. As tasty as some of the phrasing is in the OP clip, he doesn't seem like he has stayed on top of his skills over the years though (IMO), well, he hasn't made any leaps forward or improved much anyway. He used to play much meaner and cleaner than this. That might be unfair, I don't know, you are what you are and I guess many of those dudes have slipped as well (Yngwie, Schon, Eddie, etc - all former shadows). But as great as some were to begin with back in the day, there are still those that are actually getting better over the years (Petrucci, Vinnie Moore, Paul Gilbert, Kotzen etc - all still growing musically and their skills/chops are keeping up nicely). George is kool though - the tan never seems to fade! :)
yeah, I was expecting something from the Cromanic or Vaccine zones - cool and weird... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bVmOaUKGvg

Lynch/Pilson was a pretty great CD - still like it!

KILLER! That's more like it! Never heard this stuff, he sounds pissed and different, definitely not going to his staple playing/writing anyway. Thanks.
