The Watering Hole

Listening to Music

Almot an opposit of Tripper's last post and if you don't like this it's cool. He saterted out playing Punk! Kind of sucks that appearance is more important than talent these days.

I don't know how to characterize this guy (singer / songwriter) but I stumbled across him in the YT rabbit hole from Lucero's music. I got interested in his Travis Picking style on some songs, started paying attention to his lyrics and was blown away. Bared soul poetry - he had to have felt what he sings.

I think he is at his most mesmerizing live and when he is really on his voice is emotive and in combination with the guitar almost forces you to feel what he was feeling. If you are susceptible, or been there. If you can captivate an audience sitting alone with an acoustic you are a better man than I.

Maybe I am a nut too! :)

A few and all of them have different live / studio versions:

Cherokee, Cleveland County Blues, You Don't Care Enough for Me to Cry, Slow Down Easy also stand out in a catalog of music I like most of.
Ha! So funny you'd post about him. He's a friend of a friend. And AWESOME.

Thanks for sharing!
