The Melvins are awesome. I saw this a while back, but it's still fun.  The AV club "covers" series has a lot of amazing covers.

For example, Wye Oak covering Danzig is pretty amazing.

Yeah... I was not completely sold on the Danzig cover until the drums kicked in on the chorus, then I was like, it's still just as heavy, but the rest of the song is way better. And, tuba.
The Cash/NiN cover is pretty good too, that album is the last good thing I can remember Rick Rubin doing. There's still something far more unsettling about the NiN original.
