A friends of mine was searching for some info about an old boss pedalboard (me5) and he discovered a web site that sell some me5 upgrade a and patches... Then he noticed that one of the demo this site use as one of their "boutique patches", is an mp3 file ripped from one of MY video on YT!! ;)
Here the link to the boutique patches : http://boss-pedals.jimdo.com/soundbytes/
( the 4th one "HRD, me5" is the Mp3)
What should I do??
not sure what you should (or can) do...
if it were me, I'd be pissed off for a day or two then decide it wasn't worth my time to be pissed off about it and forget it ever happened. heh.
The first thing I would do is go here http://boss-pedals.jimdo.com/contact/ and tell him that he is infringing your copyright by ripping the sound track from One of your videos. See what response you get from that and if not positive find out who he is via whois.com and then send an email to his ervice provider informing them that his site hosts pirated soundtracks.
I would persue it all the way, even if it were just to piss him off as it is really bad form to use other peoples music without asking.
Go for it !
Or just go straight to www.jimbo.com and tell them and they will probably pull his site ;D
Hehe... I'd be happy as shit if someone chose to use anything I had created. ;D
(Then I would ask for a free pedal or two. ;) )

I don't recall ever seeing a piece of shit that was neither happy nor sad :)
