Doesn't look too special.
Not a Gilmour Fan at all.....But I'd play it....because it IS a Strat.
Single coils and only 21 frets, the pups would have to be noiseless to suit me, and it would have to have 22 frets. I will pass. A strat is a strat, I don't care who's name is on it. That shit don't mean anything to me.
For sure the name on the peghead will not help me to play like Gilmour and I agree with you that this Strat model seems to be nothing more than a good Strat.
I'm happy they finally put the Gilmour name on one of their guitars.
Unfortunately, this happened after the "Dodi Battaglia" and "Claudio Baglioni" signature models. Considering that Battaglia is unknown outside Italy and Baglioni isn't a guitarist, it's not bad... ;D ;D !!!
