instead of off...

anyways, here's the jam I referenced in the other thread. more song-ish than jam but it's still fairly jam-like.

not sure about the mix, might be overcooked.

enjoy... or not! heh.

Great stuff! Can't comment on the mix (at work) but sounds good to me here. Snappy tune! I enjoyed the whole track but the bass lines were my fav part, killer feel.

thanks!
I can't stop listening. I love the rhythm guitar sounds.  Reminds me of King's X... I always wanted their rhythm sound.  There is a whole bunch of cool stuff happening in the background too. It's pretty deep stuff.
thanks!

I think the mix could use more work -- I wanted the guitars to blend a little better going through the transition points than they do... but not too bad. drums might be a little loud overall... not sure, letting them sink in before I change anything.

kinda lost the ebows in one part too... they're a bit too low.

need to fix the thematic riff intro parts... can't believe I forgot to re-record the second two occurrences (boooo, copy/paste foul)

but, after I finished up, I kinda wished it was only the transitions with the central lead/jam part and skipped the thematic riff intro thing entirely... heh. I'll probably have to come up with some kind of variations on that to keep it interesting (as a listener... the repeats kinda bore me, as does the outro soloing)
Dude, the outro soloing is tasty, you crazy lol!
heh - that stuff is me on autopilot. I don't hear anything interesting in there. but... I've heard that sort of stuff a lot more than anyone else!
