The Watering Hole

Making Music

cleaning out the "to do" box. this one needs some improvements with the drum mix and stuff... parts of the last half are sort of placeholders for when I come up with something that actually fits. ;)

starts out with an afternoon by the evil clown ice cream truck... then sing along... verses: "my, my creepy valentine... etc" chorus: "sneaking 'round the bushes, you can't see me... but I, I see you... etc"  ;D

(That all of these gems are never made into a CD!  ;) )
compiling this stuff is just too big a pain in the ass.

there might come a day when I have an hour of things that work together... but even then, I'd have to re-record everything. I'd rather spend that time on new stuff, not figuring out how to play my old tunes! ;)

I also have a lot more to learn about mixing, drums, songwriting, mastering (haven't even gotten to that yet), etc (everything).

anyway, if I ever get all the sound sources stable and satisfying enough to leave them alone for a week or so, maybe I could do something... three or four tunes at once... test the waters with a smaller project.

thanks for listening to this one!
That sounds really good, enjoyed that.
Is always a pleasure listen to your music. Well done !

thanks!
Sheep I think you are hell of a "musician". Some people here can play the guitar really well (including you) yet being a musician is something different and you are one of the few.
wow, thanks - not sure if I'm worthy of that, but I appreciate it! heh :)
great as usual.  As to your comments... makes you really appreciate what Paul did all the more, doesn't it?

He was kind enough to share with me some of the details of mastering so the tracks were all "cohesive", picking song order so the album flowed, all that stuff.  Not to mention the tunes themselves which were simply fantastic!  BETTER  than MANY professional records.

Schilsy did quite a job on his, as well!   I love listening to all you guys play though.  I really like the jams and hearing how different guys approach the same track.  Really cool stuff.
