After much experimenting this thing really is excellent and has some brilliant routings of the sounds to the different outputs, for example have a sound without ir cabs going to a real amp and have the same axefx sound but with cabs going to the PA.
I recorded this little test by playing and listening to everything "wet" with reverb and delay but only recording the output from the IR speaker cab just before it hits the effects and so recording the amp & cab "dry" and then added my own reverb in protools after.
A bit of a frankenstein take this one hence the "jump" half way through, but what the hell.
The bass guitar is also via the AxeFX. I think I will now try to do some "proper" recording with it after all this fucking about working out how it all works....still loving it !
