been trying to practice with the diminished scale... here's a tune/jam.

the mix is also a bit questionable... can't do much about it short of re-recording everything and I don't really want to for an experiment kinda deal.

Whoa! Cool shit. Nice mellow vibe (in a tense kind of way :)) at the beginning, and I thought that was gonna be where it stayed, lol....oops. Turned into a toe-tappin, pissed off groove. Love all the layers. Can't say it really reminds me of any one musician either and so that is a great thing...totally iron.
Yeah!  Me likey!  :D

(Constructive, eh?  ;) )
ebow! I give it massive props just for the ebow.  Really dreamy tune as well, until it hits the massive part, and then it's just fat.
Coolwierddifferent.  I like it.
That is one of the coolest things I've heard in a long time.  Also, Mikael Akerfeldt approves :)
One song is not enough ! I want the entire CD !!!  :)
Great !

Ciao!
Marco
thanks for the listens!

ebow is the gadget for ethereal creepy, just can't beat it for that. freaked me out that I could basically descend randomly in the scale and it sounded pretty good.

diminished has always interested me... sounds really creepy, weird, and sometimes beautiful. plus it only has three modes to learn. ;)

"Also, Mikael Akerfeldt approves"

but! did you catch which 2 seconds I actually stole for the start? (aside from the blatant stylistic and thematic theft going on in the whole thing, that is :))

adventures in harmonic major up next! ;)
