Haven't played one, wouldn't know how it sounds.

Just took a 101B Red channel profile and noodled with some mahogany and humbuckers.

I know you wan't the audio quality to be top notch since these are the Kempler days, but shit, enough with the 20megabyters!!!!  :P ;)

Downloading now...though I'll only be able to say if I like the tone or not, never owned a real Bogner. I'm guessing the tone will be thick though.

It does sound like a Bogner yes.

You can use this  Lance:

http://flac.sourceforge.net/

The quality won't change but the file size will be reduced significantly.

lol, sorry guys. :)

Next time I promise.
This ones only 11 megs.
First part no Treble Boost, second part with Treble Boost on...humbuckers.

I assume you have installed it also.

1-Put the wave file in the flac directory which is:

C:/Program Files/FLAC

2- Open this:

Start Menu/  FLAC/ FLAC Frontend

3- Choose the output directory for the new flac file (right bottom) and drag the wav into the box. Press Encode.

Wave file that you want to FLAC has to be in the FLAC directory which is in the Program Files folder. It won't encode otherwise.

First clips sounds like a good tone to me, and captured well...lots of resonance and detail.

All done, thanks Derek and Zonta.

The guy who made the Profile is Stratotone on TGP.
He gigged with this Profile just after he made it, so it's really cool, all setup with his FX and Boosts for the gig.
He just used an SM57.
He also did the Blue Channel with Boost on, still have to try that one.

The Flac version.

Well....keep in mind I'm at work and listening on ancient Labtec crappers, lol, very limited freq range, but good enough for "work."  ;)

Have no clue about "Stratotone"....I've never been a fan/user/memeber of the big boards (Harmony Central, TGP, Ulimtate Metal Forum, etc)...but if he owns a Bogner AND a Kempler, he's doing better than me ($).  :P

Do they have a Bogner Shiva? I'd like to hear that.

Not yet, but one of the US guys waiting for his KPA has a bunch of amps including a Shiva.

I've been intrigued by the Xstacy ever since you guys had that Watering Hole get together where Fenderbender had the Bogner and Howie had my Fandango...was it an Xstacy or Shiva that FB had?
I think Chase also had an Xstacy?(could be wrong)...I remember he or someone posted a clip and I just loved the distortion & the tone.

I'm seriously happy with this one Profile, it's that good.
