Just redid a tune I did in remembrance of Emily Remler one of my guitar teachers. this resulted from a lesson she gave me one day way back in the day. Look for Emily By The Sea (2010) on my Soundclick Page. Yeah I know the overdrive guitar may be a little out of place but I was always Hard Rock and she was soft jazz, So I tried to incorporate both styles together.

I am gonna redo this version. or at least remix it. Lemme know what you think anyways.
8-)
Nice! OD guitar works for me.
Drum kit is spread wider than I would do it, but the mix is nice and clear, better than any of mine. ;)
Most importantly - I like the song - really good.
I remixed the tune added clean leads and fixed it up a bit.
Sounds good.
I've been checking out some of Emily's stuff on YT. She was a talented young lady.
Yeah she was, and moreso when she was younger than the video's, by the time she got famous, she was on the junk which killed her in a friend of an Internet friend of mine's bathroom in Australia. She was amazing truthfully.
Nice mellow number, dug the swing tempo part.
Thanks, I am going to put back an overdrive lead. That is how I played it for years, and the mellow lead sounds lifeless to me.
Missed this before - lovely mellow, jazzy feel - great stuff Harve. Having heard some of your earlier stuff, your playing really has come on in leaps & bounds my friend - restrained & very professional mix!
Really enjoyed that!
Rich ;)
Just heard Flat Surf Blues - great tone, nice slide, great groove - and terrific bluesy vocals! Loved it!
