I'm WAY behind in the race, never jumped in on those mastering challenge threads from back in the day, think I was too busy fooling with a new amp or something - my loss. Anyway, THANKFULLY much of that stuff is archived here. I've been going over it for a few weeks, nabbing plugs I don't have, experimenting, reading, listening to samples, etc. Think I've made enough progress to submit a sample. Every previous clip I've ever posted here (other than where I've leached others to do it for me), fnj's, raw amp clips, etc, all pretty much straight in and out of the DAW. This is the first thing I've done myself (on a PC) from start to FIN. Long way to go, but hey, more rewarding I guess. Remember, FIRST effort, be gentle...
I'm just re-tracking a previously written tune for now. Nice to not have to think about fresh material AND what the hell is going on the master bus, how it works, etc.
