Anyone else fooling around with Guitar Rig 4? Sounding really good IMO, better than 3 anyway and definietly better than my old Pod Pro.
I didn't really like it anyway, was jus kiddin'. ;D ;)
:D :D I haven't tried any of version of GR, so I wasn't going to comment, but I don't want to leave you hanging. 8-)
I just can't afford to pay boutique prices for modelling software--$200 is out of my range. I liked GR1's cabs and mics, but that is so 2004...
Looking at their site, it looks like they've added a pretty cool "control room" feature that lets you blend any of 6 cabinets with faders for 6 different mics or something. That looks very cool, but on the downside, they've really reduced the cabinet options... now each amp has a choice of two micing positions on a matched cab? The greatness of the old GR was it's flexibility--lots of cabs, lots of mics, and all kinds of positioning options. It seems like they've ditched that flexibility to give you a lot of control over a very small range of cabs.
