One of my friends who I've been playing in bands with since we were in high school... caught a little bit of jamming with him the other day. Just guitar and drums. My rig is three pedals I built (honey bee, drive breaker, and an opamp big muff) plus the EH memory boy deluxe for delays, through a Sovtek Mig 60. This is spontaneous and unplanned but some cool stuff in there. I am really stoked on the opamp big muff btw... I'll be selling those soon, hands down the best muff I've ever heard and nothing else gets close to that Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream sound.

Not been around much lately so only just listened to this. Sounds pretty good to me. Where did you hve the mics, just room or close on the kit too as the drum kit sounds great
Missed this before as well. Could be a new Cure song! Love that tone. :)
When I first read this post there was no link! I was like... cool story. heh. Glad Jon re-tagged it.
Listening now... this is awesome! skeptical about the snare but wtf, this is a great jam. really nice improv going on.
I kept expecting Fat Bob (as Siouxie Sioux calls him) to start singing! :D
Those Mig's are soooooo underrated! My Mig-50 had the best clean I'd ever heard (the Mig-50h not-so-much, but it had a different function anyway).

2 overheads, 2 stereo room mics, one room ribbon (squashed to hell), kick and snare mics.
One of the coolest bar band tones I can recall was a little Sovtek amp, a long time ago on Bourbon St.. Not sure if it was a Mig but it worked for everything they played. Could have been the three for one beers but I think not...
Oool jam. Like that fuzz. Sabbath!
