:) :) My first win was for a 1x12" Laney extn cab with 1x12" Celestion 70/80 for my Laney VC30-210.  Normally about £139, the cheapest new price I found was £99 plus £10 delivery.  Got this for £56.73 plus £10 delivery!

Been playing it today - awesome! Brand new condition, & delivered lightening fast properly packaged in the original box, it adds the bottom end and fuller tone missing from the more vintage sounding 2x10 Jensen C10Q16's.  The combination is awesome - been playing it all afternoon - just wish the Mrs was out so I could crank it up!  ;D ;D

Second win was today, for a BBE Sonic Stomp, which I've heard great things about & wanted to try out for myself, both in the FX loop of my Valvetronix AD120VTX, and the Laney.  My local music shop are getting the BBE stomp in stock - price £79.95.  They can be had on E-bay for £59.95 plus £8.95 p/p.  Even at that price, I wasn't prepared to buy one just to experiment.

But I found a new one being sold on E-bay with a start price of £30 plus £6.95 p/p.  So, I thought what the heck & bid £30, assuming it would be snapped up for much more.

Well, blow me down if I didn't actually win it!!  :D  ;D

OK, the power supply is US, but I have a brand new spare (UK) multi-DC adapter anyway.  So, should get this early next week, and I'll give it a go.  At that price, I can always sell it on if I'm not pleased with it.  But if it really does add something to my tone, then I think I may have got myself a bargain!

Rich  :) :)

Congrats bother!! :)
Mmmm Laney.

I guess I burnt some ebay bridges today because I hucked away most of the original boxes my gear and software came in. I've been saving them for years for some reason. It was a tough decision, some of those boxes were real purdy looking. But I like all the room I got back.
@ LooseNut, I saved a ton of boxes too until the beginning of this month when I moved in with the girl. They are gone now, boxes from a ton of gear. i was saving them specifically for eBay resale, it does make a difference in the success of an auction at times.
My wife through the Laney box out!  >:( - my bad I suppose, I should have put it straight in the garage & not leave it in the hall! ) :(  - but she could have checked with me first!

Women huh...can't live with 'em...can't live with 'em! ;D

Be glad you didn't leave the Laney itself in the hall....  If you know what I mean ...
If she had her way Tiger, all my gear would be out with the trash! ;D ;D ;D

For sure. My gear's got a low turnover so that fact made it easier to chuck them. I guess I don't like getting rid of things. Gear or boxes.

Now I got to think about all my old guitar and recording magazines. And then there's all my cassettes. Bet I got the first guitar cable I ever bought.

You know, this is all Dearthian's fault for inspiring my to clean up music room. ;D
