Heh...  Well, it looks like I might actually be able to start putting my studio gear back together however, as usual, I'm trying to make the most out of a less-than-adequate space (this time I'll be using the so-called "dining room" area upstairs).

As I began planning where everything could go, I was wondering how much of my gear is really necessary.

Today, I'd like to ask questions about bass.  Yes, I have a nice 800 watt i-Amp in a rack that sits on top of a couple large cabs but, for my purposes, couldn't I just send this with a DI to one of my mixing boards (either dry or through a BOSS GT-6B)?  I've got my two JBL EON PA speakers (bi-amped) that I usually use for the backing tracks or output from a mixing board.  Couldn't those work whenever I just wanted to play bass?
yup...

and probably be happier with that...

especially if space is a premium
i sense another Craig's Music Outlet sale is coming :D
Might have to...  Since mid-November when we lost our funding, I'm still not working and there's guys on the roof fixing all of the wind damage right now.  NOT happy!  :(
