But I've been having a bit on the side.
I know I've been a little distant lately and haven't been around as much; I just needed to get to know myself.
So I've been visiting another forum. The Marshall JVM forum. (Max goes there too - I haven't seen him but fuck it - I'll dob the Aussie cunt in even though he's probably loyal and innocent. He roots sheep too. Can't prove this either.)
I haven't been there for long; just a few weeks; but it's made me realise how much I want you guys. Every time IO post there; I think of all y'all. (see what I did there...)
I don't want you to think I'm a forum slut (Like Voxman ---- Voxman???? fuckin' I dare someone to check out the Vox forum site and see if there's a pommy dude there calling himself Bertman.......) - I'm omly on this other one; and a drum forum site vthat I experimented with briefly when I bought my elsectronic drum kit.
I hope you all understand and will take me back as omne of your own. (If you don't fuck it. Ill stay at the JVM forum. Or go back to the Watering Hole on my own. Or as last resort go back to the Line 6 forum....)

Hey, Um thanks for your help. I think I've found my problem..... (And ya gonna laugh; so seeing as I'm a newby to the forum hoping to develop a long lasting meaningful (probably plutonic but I am open to options) relationship; - I reserve the right to explain first....
BTW. i WANNA LET YOU GUYS AND GIRLS KNOW RIGHT NOW THAT i'M MARRIED TO ANOTHER BUNCH OF DUDES AND DUDETTES AT ANOTHER FORUM. i'M DEVOTED TO THESE OL' MATEYS AND WOULD NEVER LEAVE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE HE BEST BUNCH OD INTERNET BUDDIES IN THE WORLD. SORRY TO YELL THIS; BUT BESIDES NOT REALSING THAT MY CAPS LOCK WAS ON; I NEEDED TO MAKE A POINT.
1. JVM in shop sounds AWESOME through Buriga (?) 2 x 12 Cab.
2. I then ordered a custom made cab (when I bought thyis 9 months ago) that I returned the first day because it sounded incredibly boxy. (My other pet hate along with middy sounds) returned it that day; and bought the mesa Boogie 2x12 cab that I tested my actual amp through when i lay buyed it.
3. No instructions withn amp as it was a demo model
4. The dude 'nicked' the latex(?) - covering putting it on the laybuy shelf after I'd tested it. Doofus....
5. Never got the sound right. Incredibly 'digital' sounding when turned up. Not an EQ problem; just wasn't right. Problems with the effects loop as previously described. Shop replaces it with brand new; unplayed head.
6. Ok; so we're up to where I started the posts. But check this out. Being brand new and untouched; every dial is at 0. All the way anti clockwise.....
INCLUDING THE PRESENCE AND RESONANCE....!!!!!!
7. WTF is presence and resonance???? Download instruction manual and find out that at 0 it gives you a ^ shape.... very middy. Full clockwise gives you the scooped v shape. Not after this; but at least half way to get rid of the mid rubbish.
8. You guys and girls now laughing at me.
Having said that; I'm really greatful for the help. On your advice I've looked into an eq pedal; which I've never considered because I once had a Boss EQ pedal that was noisy as hell. But I've checked out the Harmony central reviews for an MXR 10 bander; and am gonna get one to try it out.
I'm wondering if the gain option on the MXR will push the green channels a little harder.
I've also always hated red of clean channel - too gainy. Who the hell can use that. But I've suddenly (by losing the previous mid problem) have found that I have my bluesy George Thorogood tone.
This amp is freakin' (can I say freakin' - or should I say f**kin'!!!!!) awesome......
Any thoughts on the MXR???
Or are you all still laughin to hard at another dopey Aussie???!!!??!!
