You don't see that every day.  Cool!
"And that's a $3,000 guitar ladies and gentlemen!"  ;D

Cool song btw.  Never heard of Garen before. :)
heh yeah that is one way...

and yeah cool tune.
If I saw what I think I saw, I hope he got paid well for that gig.  If that's a Taylor (which it appears to be) and if he actually stomped on the body (which it sounded like he did) he ruined "a $3,000 guitar" that could have been good as new after a 5 minute repair.  Taylors have bolt on necks!  What an idiot!    ::)
I was actually thinking (and still think) that it was part of the act....a "rigged" guitar as I can't understand why anyone would really stamp on the body of the guitar just because the neck came off...it could be fixed.

Still very funny though.
Spur of the moment thing, when I was that age I would have done the same thing and never regretted it, I would just have gone out and bought another one. (not of the same make) I don't know who those guys are but if they are famous, they have a deal with the guitar maker so that is that.
I have no idea who they are, I just found the video doing some random youtube searches
you could EASILY set a Taylor neck to hold just tight enough to keep the strings on, and a solid tap knock if off (just like you could with any bolt on neck electric).  That said, if that's a Taylor, it's a 10 series body, and more than likely WAY less than $3,000.  Not to get all Taylortechnical or anything.  ;)

Think you're right - did you catch the lyric mid way (2:34), when he sings something like: "know everything that you ever did broke my guitar in time." Clever ad-lib or setup? Hmmm. Anyway, nice tune, great voice. Who cares.
