Just some dicking around with the HX Stomp and a simple drum beat. Very sloppy, but what the hell. Nice thick juicy sounds followed by a clean-ish piece. (strings are 2 months old and are a bit pitchy, but you get the idea....hopefully)
Using us double vib amp model and an IR for the cab. All room effects etc are HX Stomp

The overdrive part sounded a bunch fizzy at first but seemed to clean up after a bit, but the clean part sounded awesome, the playing throughout is done well.
Very cool Jon. Liked the clean part and the tone in the last segment rocked!
Good to hear someone posting some music.

The fuzzy vibe is what I was going for. No pedals, just the amp model pushed to destruction. It probably sounded less fuzzy as it went along as I changed to the bridge pickup. Also, used Les Paul.
Cheers

Thanks. Maybe we should start a noodling jam thread with just guitar and drums to get people posting again, nice and quick to do. Shame that everything has died around here.
Cool!! Love the "live" vibe!
Ciao!

I can't participate in Jams right now, I am DAW deprived right now. It went belly up 2 or 3 years ago and I have not gotten around to getting a new one. I am thinking an 1-7 Windows 10 Laptop with a solid state OS and apps drive, and a 1 terabyte second drive for audio and samples. and several external USB drives for backups etc. That way I can move it around the house when needed. I will put all of my outboard gear in a road case that I have and be able to move that around as well. I will be able to take it out with me when I do over the road travel and all of that.
All I use these days is an hp laptop with windows 10 and a 500gb SSD and a focusrite 2i4 v2 usb interface (usb bus powered). Does everything I need, plus its very portable. I store projects that I want to keep on a 10 Terrabyte NAS box. Tons of shit on there :)

I bought a Presonus Studio 2/6 which I do have hooked to my old office computer just to try until I do set myself up with a new DAW. Probably a laptop also. My kiddo works for a big company in their server division. And he says I can get a Dell with only the OS and drivers on it. Which they may do for some businesses. When it comes time I will chat with Dell and see if that is so.if it is so for their large customers, I will have him buy it for me via the company, and ship it to me if he can do so. He is a one of the big wigs in that division so they may let that happen. Maybe they will also sell one to me that way also. One way or another it will be my choice to have a laptop.https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Studio26--presonus-studio-26-usb-2x4-usb-audio-interface-with-2-xmax-l-preamps
I went with a gaming laptop to have a separate graphics card and room for upgrades if needed (not), Scarlett 6i6 and a drive dock. Kind of expensive but it works fine even without the secondary drive for the few tracks I need. I think my screen is 15" and is not that easy to see these days. :)
I am sure today's mediocre laptop bets my previous recording desktop by miles.
