After all this time of using Reaper I have always struggled with various impulse plugins in reaper as most of them seem to take up loads of cpu.

I just found out by chance this evening that there has been an impulse player built-in to reaper for ages.....and it is very good.

Doh !
something else that I have only just realised within reaper, you can actually create your own impulses directly in reaper with the built-in "reaverb" vst.  All this time I have been fucking around with third party substandard tools to do this and the functionality is built right in.
Reminds me of when I was young and going out to meet chicks only to realize that one of my roommates was really hot...  ;) :D
