Hi all,
I was listening to some Albert Cummings tunes on spotify and I've opened this song...but It's just me or there are wrong chords in it??
I think it's strange that they published an album with errors in it so I think I'm wrong but I would like to know your opinions about it!

Here is the sample.... something wrong happen at: 40 sec, 50/51 sec and more evident at 1:24...

If I'm wrong, please tell me why!! :)

The one at 1:24 is atrocious. Minor vs major. Yuck.
;)

There's the same song on YT with comments disabled. Probably someone else noticed the "strange" chords..  :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rqQL2KQCGU ...same song played live sounds good .. I would have expected the opposite!

Ciao
Chords sounded OK to me, a little strange but they still fit OK.
;)

There are two guitars playing the chord sequence A-G-D but in the "strange moment" while one guitar plays a D chord, the other one plays an F#.

I don't know nothing about music theory so I don't know what is the relation between the D and F# chords.....anyway to me sound "wrong"! ;D

Ciao!
Marco
Since F# tends to add tension, I've "resolved" to not watch the video!  ;D
;D ;D
At 1:24 sounds more like me than pro musicians!

I have heard clams in live recordings but never a studio cut resolving to a brown note like that.
