came across some info on tubing/setting up the flexi I hadn't seen before... tried it out, recorded this.
not too bad sounding really - neat trick, running a 6550 with an el34 and biasing them hotter than normal.
strat with texas specials, no pedals other than the tuner in the chain.

lead is dry for my own informational purposes. ;)

I tried it with the RC booster in front today - just to trim the treble and bass a bit, not much boosting.

sounds better.. I'll clip up something this week.

That sounds good Sheep.  I like pretty much all the tones I've heard from the Flexi.  Cool amp.

RC version - sounded better yesterday (!)... ah well, didn't record that. kinda over-compressed and 220hz heavy today - but I'm getting to really like those mid heavy sustained notes... so it goes. :)
