no, it's not broken... I'm taking a machine break! heh.

recorded this stuff today instead:

(there are some timing issues, sorry about that - I didn't record it all with a click going, relied on delay for it and things didn't quite line up in a couple spots)
The original music posted here is a gift, I thoroughly enjoy it and thanks for not keeping your light under a bushel.

The infinite sustain / pad parts starting around 1:22 - wow! 1:10 to the end of the solo blew me away.

I have paid for and been happy with music I like less. Don't stop and put me on the CD list if you ever go that route! No pressure... :)

I would buy you a Dutch beer or three if opportunity ever arises.
I agree with every word of Tobe!
... + a glass of wine! :)

thanks very much guys, really appreciate the kind words.

truth is, you've paid me more with those comments than you ever could with any currency. :)

I'd accept those alcoholic payments at some time though... have to be honest... ! ;)  ;D
listening now.  This is very cool - haunting.  ohuh drums coming in... oh woah very cool...love this!  how did you do the acoustic bits?
:(

I wish this was a finished, polished song!  I had to stop working, lean back with my eyes closed through that same area that Tobe talked about (1:10 until the end of the solo).  The ending was interesting, but a bit meandering, however the beginning into the middle area was pure WOW.

thanks for the listens!

acoustic bits were... an acoustic! ;) just the usual martin DM through ksm109, but the trick was the open minor tuning - can't remember if it was open D or G or what... I'll have to figure it out again though since Craig wants a better version :)

it was thrown together pretty quickly and not to a click for all parts... the randomness shows up in the end part... not so groovy.
If bribes don't work to get you to make a CD, maybe we'll have to resort to something drastic like voodoo!  ;)

lol!
OW!
how the hell does this work?

I don't record for a week because my iMac was down... I get back to it today and everything sounds like shit. damn it! lol!!

I knew playing in the room with the cab was a bad idea... I mean, it was awesome - had me putting in 4-5 hour days. but damn, it's just not the same. :(

guess I need new amps and pedals now.

(lol)
I hate when that happens!  But um, yeah.  New gear ;)  LOL!
