Bought second-hand & I need to restring it (only got it yesterday) , but it's immaculate & plays real nice.

Any guesses which one I went for?  ;)

I'll throw out a guess...  Casino!!!

Good try Tobe...but I'm not a Beatles fan so no cigar I'm afraid. ;)...but keep 'em coming! :)
Zakk Wylde Les Paul, Black and Cream Bullseye!!  LOL!! :D :D :D
Has to be a Les Paul
The wine red 6-12 double neck!  :D

Nope - no point; got a real one! (1990 LP Custom) ;)

Oooh - now there's a thought!  But no. ;)

Not a Les Paul...but if it were, I'm far too much of a boring old fart to go for that one I'm afraid.....I'd only end up hypnotising myself with it anyway!  ;D
I've always wanted the Joe Pass one, a big hollowbody.  That's my guess.

Nice tone for jazz guitar, but too much of a 'one-trick pony'.  Now if I could play like Joe Pass......
I reckon it's an acoustic and it might be the SST, or failing that then it's an SG

and as a last ditch, it might be a banjo !

Stone cold Jon - not even close!!   ;)
OK guys - the closest guess was Tobe with the Casino!

So, here's my latest arrival - this is the third guitar I've bought this year, so that's my lot now - no more money ....or space! :D

Fancied a semi this time so found this immaculate 1989 Korean made Epiphone Sheraton II in Natural finish.

Just cleaned, restrung, cleaned the pots and set-up....plays beautifully.  :)

I was nearly right, it is "sort of" acoustic  ;D
Hey Rich,

I just noticed your signature "I started out with nothing...and I've still got most of it left" (Seasick Steve)

Although I have heard "seasick steve" say this, it certainly wasn't him that said it first, it was some black dude way back in time.

Possibly - but then I doubt he called an album this!  ;D
Now don't redo things and wrap the strings over the top of the tailstop, that's soooo 70's!  ;)
BTW - I didn't even think to guess the Ephiphone I used to have!  Figured you weren't a Flying V type...  ;)

True - never liked them - impossible to play one of those suckers sitting down too!  ;D

I agree, I like my guitars like I like my women, curvy.

Nice looking axe Rich. good luck with it.
Yep, it WAS made for standing up (lightest guitar I've ever owned as well with that Korina wood, well, except for my Steinberg I guess!).

To use 'em sitting down you have to put a leg between the wings - only kinda works.  ::)
nice find Rich,

you can too play a V in sitting position, just have to use classical position, resting the crook of the V against your leg.

Now if you can't play in classical position...

I always play in that position so transitioning to a V is no biggie, but I know some won't/don't/can't...

but nonetheless, nice guitar...
Nice score, Rich.  I really like that!

Congrats. Classy score.

Funny, I always used to play in the classical position when sitting down as classical guitar was my "first" instrument, meaning that I actually studied classical guitar under tuition for a few years.

However, since I had "frozen shoulder" I can no longer play in that position as my left should just won't allow my arm to get into the correct position anymore.  Bummer, as it used to be a really comfortable position to play guitar as the guitar doesn't move...stays put as you play.

According to the docs my shoulder will never regain 100% movement so classical position will never happen again for me :-(

Nice guitar by the way Rich.

Try the butterfly machine in the gym (if you go to a gym) I had rotator cuff problems a few years back and I started using that machine just to see what happens and it helped immensely. These days I use that machine 3x weekly for 30 reps each time. It works.
Bummer Jon, sorry to hear that...

I started out playing the guitar sidesaddle, (over one thigh/folk position) but once I started taking classical lessons I soon realized it was more comfortable and allowed me to play with more precision.  Now I even when I play bass sitting I do it in classical position. Just feels more comfortable.

I agree with DBM using a butterfly machine might help you get more mobility.

Try the cute bartender at the pub (if you go to a pub) I had rotator cuff problems a few years back and I started using that bartender just to see what happens and it helped immensely. These days I use that bartender 3x weekly for 3 reps each time. It works.
