Making Music

Thought I would let folks know that we have a new album out. sorta...

The new record label and Sue and I decided that it would be a good idea to start off with an anthology of our music instead of re-releasing our back catalog.

So we have released "Hear, What You Have Been Missing" it contains 8 songs which includes

"Primary" a new song and the first single, then 2 reworked and rerecorded songs off our second and third album.  A track from my side project Demise of Gideon that Sue sang on. and then 2 songs off "The Chaise" and "My Doom Box"

1. Primary
2. Cages
3. Inner Sanctum
4. Flicker
5. Cycles
6. My Endarkened Self
7. Mesmerized
8. Adagio

For those of you that aren't cookie vocal friendly this album has a very small amount of them as we are moving away from that style of music.

we will now return you to your regularily scheduled program...
Cool - like the DoG vid

It is  reminiscent of a mental irish jig  especially in the middle break.
That's so cool!

I might have to pick your brain about distribution once my record is done...not sure of the best way to do it.

Thanks guys, tis appreciated.

Tripper anytime, There are several ways to go about it, Karl (Blue Freya's Owner) has talked to me quite a bit about the avenues available currently.
Rich, really like the video!  Please take this as intended.... not a slam, but a compliment.  With different style vocals, I'd really be digging the video.  Really like the music and video side of it.  WELL DONE!
no offense taken, as I said above the vocals will not be a fav with almost everyone here.  And that is fine.  Do I wish I had the ability or knew of a male vocalist that could do what I wanted in a clean vocal style.  You bet haven't met them or can't pay them enough to do it.  Tis really that simple, and while I love Sue's Voice and vocal style, it doesn't fit the style we were going for on this disc, nor did she really have time this year to do a lot of recording.

we managed to get her in the studio to track vocals for 6 songs/sections.

The song from the video is actually part of a 28 minute epic.

parts 3 and 7 feature Sue exclusively, and part 6 she sings the chorus.

Then we had time for her to re-track the vocals on Cages, and Inner Sanctum and Write lyrics and record Primary.

Adagio on the new album is part 3 of the Epic.

We are hoping to have things in line so we can have a new Fateless Tears album to release in October/November, that is the plan for now.

I have the music written for 8 songs currently, with 4 more tunes in various stages of writing. I am hoping to start recording the music in February with it wrapped up by April so she has plenty of time to get lyrics and vocals done.

Around that I have 6 other projects scheduled, so... time time for FT might vary a bit.

anyways, thanks again for the comments.
