Very cool you are doing that. By far the coolest way that Edge uses delay to make a line into a melody is in"Bad." The entire "Unforgettable Fire" album is worth repeated listens. I started playing guitar because of the Edge, a delay was my first pedal, and I've learned and worked over all those old tunes. For the level of pop music they are aiming for, he is one incredibly creative guitarist.
IMHO, the Edge is the ONLY reason to ever subject one's self to the pure torture of any of U2's songs.......
+1 Charger. The Edge is inspirational. The rest of the band leave a huge amount to be desired for me.
