I've been messing around with my amp, (reading the manual ::) ), I've tried a patch cable connected to the effects loop, and use that to control the volume that I hear, I can then turn up the amp with out smashing the windows.
I ran a cable from the amp line out to the DI of my Mbox. and ran it through of Digidesign Eleven LE, amp sim turned off, and just the 67 Fender Black Face Twin Reverb 2x12 with Jensen C12Ns
cabinet sim and Shure SM57 Unidyne III Dynamic Microphone sim.
The backing track is one of LWB's
