yeah, another tune... heh. not finished with this - it sounds a little congested and stuff, needs to be longer probably... but I can't take any more runs at the riff today, hand is dead... so rerecording will have to wait a bit. this is the idea, though.

That is pretty Bad Ass!  It kind of fakes you out in the building up.  Really cool stuff!

I really like the Chimey tones at the end.
thanks!

yeah, I think the end will either continue on like that or the next tune will start there.
Nice....big thumbs up from here !
thanks!

I'm hearing a different thing in the beginning and the end. I really dig both parts, but I really want to hear different drums on the beginning.  Everything but the drums is spacy and atmospheric and hallucinogenic, but the drums are punchy and sharp.  I'd change the hi-hat pattern to a ride cymbal (which you did at the end, I noticed), or even to a low tom at a low dynamic, sort of rumbly, timpani-like.  Use an entirely different drumkit there, something loose and floppy and ambient with long decay, played softly.  The drums are perfect for the ass-kicking part.
ah ha! excellent, thank you! I felt there was something not working (other than the sequencing of the unmellow sections in the second half... changed that today) but couldn't put a finger on it other than... "err... something... hrm" -- changing the hi-hat pattern to toms (or something else entirely) sounds like an awesome idea to me, will try that!
Nice!!  :)

I'm with Charger about the drums in the beginning. I would try with something 'ethnic' like deep percussions or a totally electronic percussive sound.

thanks lwb! will be spending the afternoon today doing just that :)

I tried some other stuff but this seemed best... albeit maybe a little woofy.

dumped a lot of the delays and effects too - cleaner/louder mix.

would like to get better guitar sounds but I think I'll forgo the rerecording for now and try to work up another section to take over at the end.
I'm glad you cutted out the drum tails at 1:36!! There's more suspense!
I was writing about it on my previous post but then I've thinked "hey, Marco this is not your song!" :)

Sounds much better now! Great work!
thanks lwb!

if you have any thoughts about things like those delay tails, please feel free to say so. worst that can happen is I'll disagree and keep them... but it's much more likely that you're noticing something I'm missing.

I really do appreciate all the comments and feedback from you guys, it's extremely helpful!
The intro is now fantastic...love it.
yeah, works so much better - not entirely sold on the actual drum "performance" but the sound of it all is vastly improved! was great advice indeed.
