I think it's one of the best sounding amp I've ever had...
It's very hard to capture all the harmonics, the punch and the dynamics this amp can produce...anyway here's a quick demo. :)

That's what I figured. That's part of the magic. I have the Emi Red Fang alnico which is pretty dang close to the Blue. It definitely has it's own sound and it is great at what it does.
When you get around too it, just for fun you might want to try a germanium treble booster, and a nice flat mosfet booster with the new Vox. Should give you some more great flavors. (Depending on what guitar you are using, etc. Strat and treble booster might be a bit much on the high end. Some germanium treble boosters have a "full range" switch and that would be a nice feature with a strat).
