I've had my soundclick account for a couple of years now which you can get to at  www.mushroom-farm.com

Mostly I just have 3 or 4 minute jam sessions on there, but I've always put a price on the downloads just for fun to see what happens.   Nothing happend for quite some time, but for the past 6 months I've people have actually being paying for my musings....not many, but still 5 or so people actually paying for my stuff on a monthly basis.  I grouped a few songs together as an album and even that sells ocassionally.

It just amazes me that people actually like it enough to buy it....truly amazing, especially considering most of it just throw-away jamming.
great
Do I get a lyricist royalty?  ;D ;D ;D

Funny you should post this now though, I was just listening to your ideas on my local PC last night.  Someday I'd like to have the time and clear mind to finish writing some of the songs you gave me starter riffs to! :)

As soon as it hit's $1,000,000 I'll give you a pay-out :-)

The biggest problem I have with songwriting is finding someone with the voice to sing them.  Yep, it would be good to flesh-out those old riffs.

ALL RIGHT!!!!!  That shouldn't take too long!  :D

(As for that vocalist, maybe we can tease Bouke out of retirement and polish his English juuuuust a little bit more.  ;) )
I suspect Bouke is currently maître de  at the poshest restaurant in Holland

:D
So all Jon and I have to do is go in there and offend some of the patrons, right?  "How much for the little girl? The women? How much for the women?" "Your women. I want to buy your women. The little girl, your daughters. Sell them to me. Sell me your children!"

I think I'll have white bread, toast, dry with nothing on it and Jon could have four whole fried chickens and a Coke... ;D

No I can't, I'm diabetic!,   I'll settle for a small portion of chicken and a diet coke  :)

Come on Jon, a "small" portion of chicken is the equivilent of of our idea of 4 whole fried chickens and the "diet" coke probably has more sugar than our regular coke  :o. Rumour has it that when Mcpuke first came to the UK, the food standards agency made them put the pickle into all thier burgers to stop them being class as a sweet/pudding because of the amount of sugar and fats in the products. Can't say whether that's fact but having eaten Stateside many times, I can account for the portion sizes and a regular fast food joint type meal is about twice the size of out supersized option!!

On a lighter note (no pun intended), well done with the Soundclick thing. When the Boogie is gone and my new amps are built, I intend to spend a lot more time recording stuff I have in my head and developing bits and pieces I have recorded and never finished. Whether I do anything with them after that remains to be seen.

Good luck with it Jon. ;).
