doesn't have much to say... the same word over and over or it just freaks out. ;)
wah -> wiggler -> riddle -> profit

if it starts saying redbull you better run...
And if it starts saying "redrum" you better hide!
I guess this didn't capture (or convey) what I thought was cool about it...
but I'm also open to the idea that it's just lame. ;)
ah well! :)
I didn't think it was lame. Don't really know exactly what it IS.
I don't think anyone necessarily thought it was lame, but it certainly had a good "WTF?" aspect to it! I liked how you took it and made a song out of it. :)
(I should note that if my pedal board could talk, it would probably just laugh at my playing... *Sigh* ::) )
it was the wah, wiggler and riddle making noise all by themselves... no guitar. they don't like to be on at the same time.
wah gives slight pitch changes to the effect, wiggler does tremolo for timing and triggering the riddle envelope. riddle just does it's riddle thing.
without the wah "synthesizing", the other two can do some On The Run type stuff, but I need to put a delay in front for the main keys part... heartbeats and breathing is easy.
just random fun noises, something to do when the guitar needs a rest.
could use a Making Noise forum maybe ;)
you could be onto something here Mr. Hendrix! I wasn't familiar with those pedals (in name yes, but not what they did) when you posted this. wild stuff!
Trippy! I felt like Jody Fosters character must've felt when she first hears the signal from space. :)
ok, to space then! ;) with DL4 looping and some slide (picked from behind the slide. discovered this last night - neat effect imo!)

On the run part II ! ;)
Nice !
That's really cool!
Plus, whatever you're drinking, I want some. ;)
thanks, just some fun noises - I can't really take credit for the noise stylings of my pedals. ;)
re: what I'm drinking - comus, first utterance was mentioned in an interview with steven wilson. so, I bought it a few weeks ago... and it's taken over my life. never thought of myself as one who would like early 70's semi-psychotic-acid-folk music (!)... but I can't stop listening to it! heh. anyway, it's pretty inspiring stuff and I find it ridiculously cool in ways I can't really explain. I'm pretty sure it's not something most people would enjoy, though.

Strange band! They put out two albums in the early 70's, then two more in 2011 & 2012. Talk about taking a break!
the second album doesn't do anything for me. the new stuff is interesting... but that first album is magic.
On the third song of the first album you can hear the line that became the title of an Opeth album "My arms, your hearse." :)
good sign that you made it past the first song! I expected people would turn it off when he does the goat voice singing... lol.
C'mon! I'm not a narrow-minded red-neck! :D
I've got a LOT of weird and bizarre stuff. Really nice guitars in that second song ("The Herald"). Do they use a bent saw or a Theramin? Sounded like it...
Nice flute work too - makes me want to pull out some Tull later.
hah, true!
I think it's slide on a bass (herald) - but not sure.
yeah, I was thinking back on Tull... I like it but not like this. maybe it's the female vocal... and the lack of "rock" underpinnings in comus? or the pagan firelight freakout dance ritual that comes along every now and then? heh.
