Can't fool me that was Mirri Vanirri!  :D
;D  That Craig... he sho is funny!

As impressive as that was... 35 years ago I heard someone doing stuff like that.  And he had Greg Lake and Carl Palmer playing with him.  Now THAT blew me away.

Still, to this day, say that the most impressive musician I've ever seen was Keith.

Incredible, excellent stuff!
She's pretty good as a player, but I've seen better. The technology behind the machine is what was impressive! What kind of system is that?

I think the System was "Chinese Woman", there was no sequencing, everything you heard was her in real time. I never said she was the best ever I just think it was good.
"This exhilarating performance from TEDx USC features the Yamaha Electone Stagea, a rare, imported instrument specially programmed by Qi herself."

I used to do a lot of synth program editing, back in the analog studio days mid-late 80's, I had 30 synths and samplers, all of which I could go into, edit the patches, including sound parameters, key assignments, and a host of other parameters. I was just saying every sound you heard, she played in real time. The drum and symbol hits, the bass lines etc.

Yep, skill involved for sure.  Chris was asking what kind of system it was...
It actually says that on the notes on YouTube - Yamaha Electone Stagea. She programmed it for this performance herself, apparently, which makes it even cooler...
