Tomorrow I'll join a famous Italian Blues Band!!!!
...Ok, to be fair is very famous in a radius of 30 km, but for me it is more than enough! ;D
Despite the years, I believe to be excited! :)
Ciao !!!!
Marco
No one deserves it more than you, man. You actually go far beyond blues with your skills...
Congrats on that. I look forward to seeing some video of the band in action.
You will be a huge assett to any band.
+1 to everything that has been said,
Well deserved - congratulations.
Great, good luck with it amigo.
Congrats Marco! Way cool!!!!!
Soon I'll be able to say: "There's this great guitar player in that famous Italian Blues band, Marco - I know him!!!! He's one hell of a player. We've jammed together online. Plus, he taught me how to make an authentic Italian Pizza." :D

cgtrox 8-)
tomorrow was yesterday :)
So how did it go ?
:)
"Tomorrow"...was this mornig at 3 am..more than a rehersal, seemed to be a race of endurance!! :D :D
Everythig was fine, THANKS !! Some mistake here and there but nothing serious or irreparable. :) :)
...It's really hard to play in a band after years of "one man band" at home ! :)
Ciao !
Marco
Good stuff,
Mistakes happen.
It is all about recovery from them and just keeping on going.
It is definitely an endurance thing :)
I once saw Roy Buchanan play live just after his second album came out. I was sitting right down in front not 15 feet from him. I saw him hit a clunker note, then he looked down, hit it again, then made a little riff up on the spot, centered on that note, and no one who did not play guitar ever noticed what he was doing. However the other players all realized what he did and lots of looks of admiration went around the room on that little bit of improv. There ain't a bad note unless you recognize it as bad, it is simply an invitation for improvisation. I use that technique to this day to justify a "surprise" note
:) Thanks DBM, good advice !
The hard part for me is to improvise something "surprising" for every song.. :D
Ciao !
Marco
P.S. Good Italian ! Better than my English ! :)
