Kind of a hybrid thing on the drums Tin...played 'em in them tweaked 'em in a little here and there...Still trying to get my brain wrapped around Superior 2 and all the options goin on in there...massive...strugglin with the snares they give ya..no smack, kinda dull...had to go with the ole standby EZ Pop/Rock snare...I like that you can mix 'em all up like that..

I like the BB snare in the Allaire kit... I am using that kit with cymbals from a couple other kits, then using some IRs I have of the Allaire studio for the room sound. The x-pads are the best thing since sliced bread for TT's stuff
I am looking forward to the Metal Foundry pack coming out soon...
Should be able to do away with x-pads all together I hope...

yeah that Black Beauty is the only one that really comes close (for me anyways)...but I ended up just EQ'ing the bejesus out of it and it started sounding funny...wasn't mixing real well with the room sound then...big cluster fuck...
Love the program though...tons of flexibility with the X-Drums...and FINALLY being able to actually choke a cymbal with the E-Drums is a quantum leap forward...

with the Allaire one, the avatar BB yeah it was not as good, the hit factory BB i haven't tried at all...
Yeah having the chokable cymbals is a major step...
you could do that with most of the ezds though, just had to set it up in your trigger brain...
I like most of the Allaire snares but they end up sounding a bit thin by the time I put everything together... I've always liked a snare with a real crisp sound but having that and then enough body seems elusive to me. But then again I haven't put the hours in on it that I need. SOS, haha :)
The main thing is, excellent Metallica guitar sound. Not over distorted, and a pretty accurate speaker model. Nice playing too. Add this to my amplitube Master of Puppets take and pretty soon, we'll have a whole album of accurate Metallica karaoke...
