I've had the VT30 and VFS5 for several weeks now to evaluate.  This amp is just stonking - it really is very, very good indeed. :) :)

Guys, following on from the original thread on this please ignore your preconceptions from the video clips, put aside your tube snobbery for a while, and go and try one.  Appreciate that this is not a $3000 boutique amp - just a budget priced amp with an enormous selection of quality tone - but just play it, crank it up, and let rip!!!  I guarantee it will put a surprised smile on your face!

This is sooo superior to the previous ADxxVT series, with much more valve-like punch & feel, and the amp models really are staggeringly good.  Here's my review on Valvetronix.net

The VT50 1x12 & VT100 2x12 should be coming out any time, and they'll be a fairer comparison with amps you're using simply because of the restrictions of the 10" speaker in the VT30.  But even the modest VT30 sounds darned good!

Sounds like a fun little amp.  Might have to check one out.
Read the review, great bit of reviewing there Rich. I am still thinking the Bogner Alchemist 50 watt Head for myself. I may have my SG sold this weekend, and if so, I may pull the trigger on the Alchemist. I am not a fan of modeling, I can get every sound I need from a channel switching tube amp, or with my foot pedals/tube amp.
