After a lot of attempts, finally got these loaded without you-tube putting them out of synch!

The Cub is played straight with no external effects, but the stock 95dB Celestion Rocket speaker has been replaced with a 100dB Celestion Vintage 30.

Really difficult to make these vids in such a small room with very limited recording facilities (just a Sony handycam) but let me know what you think guys?

I've used both a Les Paul & a Strat

Happy New Year everyone! :D

Sound really good Rich, and some fine playing there too !

BTW, I prefer it with the les paul, excellent.
Thanks Jon - yeah, it really raunches nicely with the Les Paul!  But I really do like it with the Strat too...feels very vibrant & dynamic.
Very comprehensive review Rich. Thanks for that. I too liked it more with the Les Paul, but the Strat tone is not my favorite tone although I have a nice Strat clone with Fender Vintage Noiseless pups in it.
I've been doing most of my night time surfing after bed time on the iPad so I haven't watched these.  I"ll try to watch them all tonight.

Still the slickest accent at the BertCave IMO.

I already have major LP gas, didn't need to watch that. Great looking axe! I also preferred the Les Paul clip, sounded more "woody" (I know, as it SHOULD, lol).

Only through the first one so far Rich, but so far so good.  Like it with the LP.  And, like the LP too.
