My latest amateur video attempting to demo the incredible versatility of the new Vox Valvetronix VT40+.

With 33 amp models, 11 pedals and a host of effects at a players disposal, my dillema was 'where do I start'?! So, I've tried my best to demo a whole range of different styles, using different guitars. Some tones were just slight tweaks of the amps presets - others, like the SRV tones (Fender model plus Tubescreamer) I custom made. I'm afraid I can't recall amp models, effects or settings - there were just too many & it was really tough putting this vid together. But I have tried my best to include something here for everyone & hope that you enjoy the vid!

I'll watch this tonight. Ironically, I signed in now just to ask when you are going to demo that new tiny Lil Night Train tube amp. That one looks like fun!

another good demo Rich! I was cracking up on the slide part at the end. First, thinking "I wish I could play slide like that, it's really cool." Then thinking, "the camera doesn't seem to be what he's playing." Then I was sure the video was a bit off from the audio. The slide at the end showed it! LOL

Good demo though! Nice selection of guitars too!

Thanks DTR - Although the Master was perfectly in snynch, for some reason the vid went peculiar once it went through you-tube compression - so, sorry about that. :(

I thought it would be nice to use some different guitars this time round.

Very cool.

Especially cool, in my view, was the Vox guitar you were playing there for a while. Those are awesome and underrated guitars.

If they were just a little less expensive here, I'd own one...

Nice guitar work Rich, the amp sounded pretty good for a modeling amp.

Thanks DBM - it's only got a 10" speaker, & in a smaller cab than the VT30, but it's still a punchy little thing that you can have a lot of fun with.
