The Watering Hole

Because it's one of the rare occassions where I have lots of spare time on my hands so I can play with my guitars and recording gear.  :)

Here's a little custard pie that I just knocked off...just dicking around trying out mic positions etc.

Les Paul > Peavey C30, mic'd with SM57 45 degree angle to the cone centre with a short delay added on the left channel to 'big' things up a bit.

edit: replayed the bass part using IK Ampeg

Nice one Jon - amazingly close to the original tone.  Might just need some whipped cream and some cherries in sauce to make it perfect!   ;D
