actually, it's the peavey C30 into THD hotplate, then line out of the hotplate into the computer and finished off with a roomy sounding impulse of a Thunderbolt speaker Cab. I just love "roomy" guitar sounds, you may not of course.... :)

sounds good Jon. I've really noticed the Page vibe in your playing the last year or so.

Hey Jimmy! :D
Guitar sounds great, but is that drummer dragging behind a bit or do my ears need some work? :)

You are both too kind. I've been trying to get the Page "live" tone for sometime now and I think the C30 with the right pickups gets there. The secret to that tone of course is to not use much distortion at all. The amp is cranked through the THD hotplate and most of the grind is coming from the output tubes.
The drum timing is a bit off, and my playing is way off but what the hell all good fun ! ;D

That's my attitude also.
Sounds really good to me, and you are fun to listen to Jon.
I like to listen to old blues and rock recordings made before close miking became the norm. Even digitized they have a cool vibe.
