Southern racism is definitely still around, and it thrives in the uneducated and inexperienced.
Since most rural southerners fit both categories, they tend to be the most racist.
I can't believe people are still so stupid as to think race matters. Of course, people are still so stupid as to think gayness isn't genetic, so I guess it makes sense, all things considered.
Republicans tend to be so stupid as to think that their party's platform actually supports things that benefit society as a whole, rather that just the wealthy elite, so I guess that's why they tend to me more racist, on the whole, and why dumb people tend to be more Republican.
