I still say the media decided things long before the voting started (i.e., that this would "only" be about Mitt or Obama). That sucks.
They could have let Gary Johnson debate. Then he'd be Ross Perot, getting 15-20% of the vote, and contributing to a 400+ electoral vote landslide for Obama.
I hear what you're saying, but I think if Americans were truly eager for third party candidates, we'd have them. I'd love a parliamentary system myself, where the winning party has to form a government that works, and dissolves itself when it doesn't. That would solve a crapload of problems here, right?
