It's truly amazing that the main parts of the healthcare law needed to have gov regulation in the first place. You could pay in for years and get dropped when you're sick, or capped when your disease cost too much, or have your child dropped for being born with a "preexisting" condition, etc...and we just accept it. Instead of blaming the insurance corps, it's the gov's fault for stepping in. I love this move to drop child policies by some of the big insuranceholes...shows where they are coming from, and that place is called HELL...fuckin' evil Imps.
Single payer makes the most sense to me but it would even things out a little more and not draw a profit on top of the profit made by the care providers and that would be downright un-American! I mean raise your glass, and your rates, to the insurcorps but be sure to blame BamBam and take a big gulp! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

As far as the mandate goes, the funniest argument I heard was from the aptly named Dick-Tea Moneybags-Army. The gist was that Christian Scientists never go to doctors and how could they be "forced" to get insurance.

It's an aggressive, open minded attitude if it were some other time.
It's taking new information and adjusting so we don't have to pay for sick kids.
It's a flexible way of thinking,one day I'm for it and the next I'm not.
However, it's much easier to think like I do from the position I'm in since I have healthcare, as opposed to those who are suffering.
It's not about being negative or positive. (Although I look at it as a positive) It's really a honest attitude to go against anything anybody here says on any subject. Even if it's something I was for yesterday.
It isn't liberal or conservative. It isn't democrat or republican. It's strictly based on not wanting to be in a foxhole with a fag. It really isn't wrong or right either, for that matter it just scares me.
