if you think the riots were bad when rodney king got beat wait till they ELIMINATE welfare; oakland will burn to the ground. still think the rioting over budgetary issues won't happen here? the obama administration has repeatedly said they do not want to play bail out with the individual state goverments. i agree wholeheartedly

I've never seen anyone so consistently gleeful at bad news and so consistently angry at good news.
It's kind of fascinating.

and BTW, Oakland has come a long way since the 80's, including a major economic renaissance.  I don't think there's a whole lot of welfare going on there nowadays.
