Evil, nasty Obamacare helps almost 10 million Americans get health insurance. Nasty, evil socialist plot.

Oh crap. It's going to cost less than we thought, too.  Because, unfortunately, health care plans will actually cost less than we thought they would through the exchanges. Nasty, evil, horrible Obamacare.

And when will the horrors stop? A whole lot more people (8.2 million) were added to employers' insurance plans too!  Even though the RidiculousRight promised us employers were going to start cancelling insurance left and right.  Goddamn evil, nasty, evil, foul Obamacare, killing jobs, and taking away people's insurance!

And the rate of people uninsured is dropping much faster in states that have embraced Obamacare and set up their own exchanges-- those nasty, socialist, traitorous, foul dens of iniquity.

I didn't write the articles or create the numbers, Craig.

But I agree with this:

I think some of the first findings are at least hopeful. I think what happens positive and negative right now isn't a good enough indication of success or failure.  We need much more time to determine that.

I hope it's successful. I wouldn't blow your horn quite yet though. Good news is good news, though.
I'm not blowing my horn- I wish it was a full, socialized, single payer system.  But socialized medicine makes Americans scared of commies.
No, socialized medicine lowers the quality of care which is why people from countries that already have it keep trying to come here for care.

This has been done to death. I'll leave it to you to find me the study that shows better health outcomes from the American system than from any first-world country with socialized medical care.
Here's one that compares our health care system to Germany, Canada, Britian, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Australia.

In fact, if you read up on it, you'd find the trend was overwhelmingly to travel FROM the US to somewhere else to get more affordable treatment.

Craig, that's like saying I got robbed by a mexican guy last week, so all mexican dudes are robbers. So, a few people come here for surgery, and by the way, good chance the doctor is from the same country....better throw that in while your at it..... and suddenly the people from countries with socialized medicine flock to the US because socialized medicine is a failure of some sort? Really? Convince me.

What the hell would inspire you to say something like that?

I'll have to read about that more. I have limited knowledge, very limited in fact, about it. But I have never read or heard anyone suggest it's some sort of failure. Not even on Fox News. I could argue a few points here and their with your statement, but our thoughts have been so close lately, I may better be suited to reading first rather than waist our time in a five page debate about something I'd probably end up agreeing with you own.
Someone had some fun.
