He really probably should, because there's an economic crisis.

But he has been warning everyone about this for ages though,
Not stopped going on about it since the economy was fundamentally sound last week.
Yeah, we don't want him to actually work for that $160,000 we pay him a year. And if he's not needed there, fire him. And Obama. If we can do without these guys now, we can do without them forever. ;)
He has done his job.

He's been concentrating on the really important issue that is consuming him, the politics of getting elected.

He has  made it clear in a speech since.

Made weasel words about how much a deal is needed and then said it is back to the drawing board - code for the "the bill is dead".

No criticism of the republicans who opposed it, reserved all his criticism for democrats.

So he has skewered the deal completely - which was clearly his intention.

Well he was behind in the polls, worth the  gamble I guess  ::)

Workin', workin' hard, it's hard work.
I must say, I'm pretty sick of his gimics to. It's really gettin old, like him.
I just hope EVERYONE suspends their campaigns after the election.  I can't fucking believe how early all of the mudslinging and posturing started this time!  I think we've been assaulted with this stench for almost the last four years.  Going to a store and seeing Christmas stuff in September is bad enough, but I don't want to hear about the 2012 elections starting this December.
