Why become angry? I don't see that it's any big deal. It's not going to fuck anybody to put it off two months.....they don't end till dec 31st.
Why would they vote on it? They don't have the votes to renew the cuts they want to: cuts for everyone under 250k. They won't have them after the election either. It's irrelevant. The tax cuts should be rolled back anyway. Remember, Hook, you care deeply about the deficit now. Don't forget how angry you are about the deficit.
And please don't tell me about healthcare--the CBO has now done the math twice, and both times, they determined that the new healthcare system is going to cost the gov't less than keeping the old system.
