Alright several years ago I video taped some wateringholestock shit. Classic shit. I then took that tape and burned it to DVD.
Now what I want to do is upload that video...but I can't get the dvd to convert. I also need to be able to edit it at this point so that I can chop it up into segments that are no greater than 10 minutes. This program needs to be FREE.
Ideas?
You need to rip the DVD to an AVI file. Once it's an AVI, then you can load it into editing software and chop it up. http://bitripper.com/

Alright I think the conversion stuff is good. thanks Mark. Now I just gotta find a good FREE video editor to chop it up and export the piece. What I have I THINK will only let me chop to chapters and not export the pieces....still figuring this shit out. The cool thing is.....ONCe I get it figured out....I'll be a bad ass! HAHAHAHA
What a motherfucker. I finally got something that would go from DVD to AVI.....but AVI is WAY too fucking big. Avi makes each section around 12GB. You tube can only handle 1GB. So I have to go from AVI to MPEG4......and everything I've tried thus far either puts a gay ass watermarks over the entire thing.....or won't convert a file that size....or says it's free but will only do up to 5 minutes.....I refuse to BUY a damn thing! HAHAHAHAHAHA
