This "error" published by Mcafee as an antivirus update, which then began to erroneously mark the file "svchost.exe" as a virus, and attempt to clean it, crippled some 30 computers at my work yesterday. If you delete svchost.exe enough times, eventually you lose your networking capability, your graphics, and at some point your system goes into constant reboot. They published an antivirus update that was actually more devastating than most viruses!
That a company as big as Mcafee published this crapware just speaks to how shoddy they are. Stick with the small vendors. Fuck Mcafee.
