not to copy commercial DVDs, but some ball games things that are on DVD and a friend loaned me to make copies for myself. I'm going to be helping out the basketball team this year and this is the newfangled version of "game films." :) I have a DVD burner in my newer laptop but no software (that I know of) to copy his DVDs.
If the DVD's aren't copy protected, most dvd burning apps have a disc copy option. If your laptop came with a burner it should have come with an app to use it. What kind of comp is it?
Toshiba. It has burning software but when I opened it it asks you for pictures, music, etc that you want to burn to the disc. I didn't see a "disc copy" option.
And yes, I am trying to copy high school ball games, not commercial movies.
This might work for you:
http://www.nero.com/eng/downloads-nbl-free.phpThey have a 15 day trial of their full featured ver too:
http://www.nero.com/eng/nero-burning-rom-overview.htmlThere are many apps that will do one to one copying out there, run a search and pick one that looks reputable. heh heh
actually, I found out that one of the standard Toshiba DVD programs will work (it did last night) since it was not a commercial copyrighted disc. It allows you to "back up" discs. So I did it and it worked great.
far as ya know... ;D No, I was.
I would like to rip some DVDs movies and Seinfeld stuff, to my computer for those times the power goes out during storms, or for when we go camping etc. These are commercial movies/DVDs, but I did pay for them and just want to rip them to my computer. Haven't looked into that.
Thes porn lovers...jeeeez.
